On September the 25th, 2011 Peter's Opera Cafe will celebrate its 30th birthday. From 07 pm artists, who have met, accompaned and learned to love Peter and his Café over the past 30 years, will make music in Peter's Opera Cafe for the evening. The live program will be moderated by an artist and performed by young artists. On this evening Peter will present legendary past treasures from his private music-library.

Thank you to all our guests of the Peter's Opera Cafe for years of loyalty, without which this institution would not still be open. Peter's Opera Cafe was never supported by the chamber of commerce, the city of Vienna or other so-called "culture"-promoting agencies.

The crisis-proof classic concept of this unique institution is so, because Peter is an avid classical music lover and has made his hobby, his passion for opera, into a career with the café.

Ljuba Welitsch, the Salome of the century, instruct Peter the Council: "In the opera world a professional and connoisseur of the opera must never lie, even if the truth creates enemies, because these "enemies" will recognize the truth over time, and then also will become "friends"of an opera connoisseur.

On 09 of July 2011 at 07 pm our season finale concert will take place in Peter's Opera Cafe.
